  • The earlier, the better!
Though Alyssa the Critter Sitter does our best to accommodate last minute bookings, due to demand, that may not always be available. For ideal availability options, a minimum of 2-4 weeks for 30 minute, 1 hour, or day visits and a minimum of 1-2 months in advance for overnight visits is recommended.

For bookings 4+ months out, for both new & established clients, please view our “Payment Policy” HERE.

  • Many clients choose to provide a copy of their key for all future care needs. We hold all keys in a secure lock box when not in use. The assigned sitter will pick up keys for their visits and return them to the home office every day.

If you prefer to provide us key usage temporarily, we do schedule pick-up/drop off of your key. For this option there is a fee for our time and gas. Please check "Services" for further details or inquire for further options.

  • You are welcome to request your favorite sitter!

Please be aware that fulfilling your request may be based on availability. if your requested sitter is not available, another sitter may care for your pet(s) as long as they have been deemed trained for the pet(s) care needs. All sitters are covered by bonding and insurance, for your comfort and ours.
You are always able to view the sitter planned for visits on your online portal. You are, of course, welcome to request a Meet & Greet in order to meet any sitter booked to care for your pets.

*Please note any additional Meet & Greets do have a fee for the sitter’s time and gas.

We will do our best to accommodate special requests. However, due to our insurance, bonding coverage, and abilities, special requests may result in additional fees or our inability to provide the requested service.
